About Us
We are husband and wife artists, Jim and Amy Bishop. Our mission to connect locals with local art and artists has called us to create Sawdust and Clay Collaborative, a retail collaborative featuring over 20 local artist's work for sale. We have curated this collection to support local shopping and local makers.
We have found improved life balance and wellness through art and a creative lifestyle. We hope to share our passion and work with our community by offering art, classes and events at our location on Salem Street in Beautiful Downtown Apex, North Carolina. Come check out our "Local, Art, Love" vibe!
Jim is a woodworker who specializes in heirloom quality home decor and gifts items.
Amy is a potter and photographer with an education in Studio Arts. She specializes in home decor/functional pottery as well as fine art photography.
